a bit about the house...

Situated on Paradise island, a short stroll to all surfers paradise has to offer - shopping, nightlife and beaches - yet in an area (or island) that offers peace and quiet. The house is a townhouse, 2 stories with living area downstairs and sleeping upstairs. It's a huge space, there is plenty of room to do your own thing or socialise. The room is large, with space enough for a queen (I have a double and there is ample room even with 2 bedside tables) , BIR with mirrored doors and some extra cupboard space on the landing. The bathroom is shared - currently with one other female. Toilet is separate and the bathroom has a large shower and bath. downstairs there is a large galley type kitchen with ample cupboard space, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fully furnished with all you need. (you only need to bring your clothes really and maybe a bed) the living space has couches, t.v radio, and currently a pool table. outside there is a small wooden deck area which leads down to the lawn. It's the perfect spot to sit and have a few quiet ones!!

a bit about the household...

the reason I loved living here was that it was a home not just a room. The two living here (a girl and a guy both from Melb - one an aged carer the other a lifeguard and occassional hospitality worker) welcomed me into their lives and I am really very sad that I have to leave. They are fun, easygoing, sociable people who enjoy having a chat and a beer but also value privacy and personal space when needed. Please note - despite being close to surfers this is NOT a party house!! that being said, people are always dropping in and out and staying over after nights out but we prefer to keep it a low key type of place - somewhere where you have a few drinks before heading to the party - not where the party is!!

So if you're looking for a home not just a room - and friends not just people who live with you - then let me know!! you will not regret living here!!
